Senior Information

The links at the right side of the blog are meant to help seniors navigate their senior year. You will find search tools that help students match careers to personality or interests; find schools that meet students criteria; investigate both general and specific financial aid information; get NCAA information; know dates that representatives will visit here; get information about the military; get testing information and much more. Parents and/or students can sign up to be on my email update list. If you are a parent and would like me to send notifications of when financial aid weblogs are being updated, please call or send me your email address.  If something does not work, please let me know so that I can solve the issue. You can reach me at pcraig@usd341.org or 785-863-2281.

PSAT Test

PSAT results were received on November 23rd and were mailed home to parents on November 24th.  The results are mailed home to make sure that parents see the test scores and also to allow for student privacy about test scores.  These are your scores and you do not have to share or compare them to any other student.  I would be glad to go over results for any student or parent.  An explanation for understanding scores were sent home with test scores.

My College QuickStart will be available online in mid- December.  This is a good tool students can use for college and career planning.

College.gov

College.gov is a fun, interactive, easy to use Web site that tells you everything you need to know about planning, preparing and paying for college.  It provides information about how to choose schools, careers and applying for financial aid.  You can create a personal roadmap to share with family and friends.  There is a college.gov page on Facebook which allows social networking centered on going to college.
